Hi my name is Lilly Beth, I’m a 5-6 year old Tri-color Beagle. I am a small, little girl. I only weigh 15 lbs.
I came into rescue very scared with a urinary tract infection, it turned out to be crystals in my urine and I’m now on special food that makes everything better. I needed to be spayed and my foster mom took care of that for me and I’m thankful that I don’t have to have any more babies!
I’m really scared to be picked up, I will sit next to mom and let her pet me and I really like that. Because of being scared I don’t take treats out from a hand. I don’t really like the leash either.
Housebreaking is a work in progress. I do really well one day and the next I need some help to remember I need to go outside!
OK, that is the not so good stuff; here is the real scoop from my foster mom!!!
Foster mom here, Lilly is a sweetheart. I leave her in the house when I’m gone and other then tearing up a newspaper and a box she is really good. She will need someone that is patient with her. She doesn’t like walking on a leash and because she is scared, I haven’t forced her to do that. She loves the other dogs in the house and is good with a six year old!
I think she would do better in a quite house with no kids under 6. They would need to know to go slow with her. Lily Beth is also blind in her right eye.
Lily Beth is current on vaccinations, HW negative, spayed, and micro chipped.
