Hi! My name is Joanie and I am a three month old hound mix. I have come along way since I have entered my foster home a few weeks ago. When I first came, I was very frightened and timid. I wouldn’t let anyone approach me. Now I have learned to relax and enjoy the life inside of a warm loving home. I can be a little timid around new people, but once I am comfortable around you, you will know it because I demand attention and lots of affection!

I spend my days playing with my brother (Chachi) and my other foster siblings (beagles and a cat), chewing on lots of toys, and telling my human friends what I want! If I untie your shoe (which I love to do) that means I want to be picked up and cuddled. I also love to take naps with my human family. When I lick your fingers, that means I want to play! My foster mom says I have some tendencies of a cat. I like to pounce, walk, and hunt for toys like a cat. But don’t let that fool you, I am all dog!

I am doing well with potty and crate training. I like to go into my kennel and take my naps! I am looking forward to learning lots of new tricks. My foster mom says I am treat that makes learning for me very easy!

Can I be your forever Joanie?
