Gordon is a loving low-rider looking for his forever family. His previous owners gave him up through no fault of his own. He is a perfect gentleman who has never had any accidents in his foster home. He knows sit, stay, come, let’s go and wait!! His prior owners indicated that he was afraid of children and would submissively urinate, but his foster family has seen no evidence of these issues. He seems to love all the kids on the block, including the young children in his foster family, especially the toddler. He is a little protective of the 2 year old from the household dog, who ignores him. Gordon is a Bassador, the ideal blend of a Labrador and a Basset Hound and looks like a black lab on short legs. He is playful and gets along well with other dogs, as well as cats. Gordon is 5 years old and weighs 58 pounds. He learned the dog door at his foster home in a few days and walks well on a leash. He sleeps on his dog bed through the night and enjoys anything soft and fluffy. We were told that he preferred to spend most of his time in his kennel, but he has not spent any time in it since arriving at his foster home.
Gordon is neutered, micro chipped, current on vaccinations and heartworm negative.
