Meet Bonnie! This beautiful lady is a 7 year old Bassador who weighs around 47lbs.
Bonnie was surrendered to a high kill municipal shelter outside Charlotte, NC in June of this year. We pulled her shortly after and have enjoyed getting to know this sweet girl. She LOVES the attention of people! We were able to speak with her previous owners and have copies of her records from age 1-current. She lived most of her life with an elderly larger dog, who passed away a few years ago. Since that time she has been an only dog with a couple that had one older child. She had an electric fence and a doggie door. She does great with people, very outgoing and friendly. She walks well on a leash and enjoys strolling the neighborhood.
With new dogs she is generally fine, but is dominant and will over time make sure they know she is the alpha. We recommend she be adopted into a home where she can be an only dog. She is fine with cats and older children. Bonnie is house broken and can be crated but would prefer not to be. She is trustworthy to leave out in the house and does not chew or otherwise damage her surroundings. If you like she would love to sleep in a human bed with you, but she will sleep on a comfy dog bed if preferred
Bonnie is current on all vaccinations, HW negative, spayed and micro chipped.
