  GRETCHEN

Breed: Beagle/Pug      Age:  ~3 Years

Hi, my name is Gretchen! I am a three-year old puggle (beagle mixed with pug) who weighs 22 pounds. I enjoy rawhides, licking my foster dad’s face, and walks. I am a very loveable girl! I am house and crate trained. I know when to go into my kennel and usually do not make a fuss. I do well with my foster brother; but, have been learning the ways of sharing. I like to eat my dinner and his. I get very excited when I come to a new place; but, with time, will settle down to be your best little cuddle bug! Won’t you love me forever? Kisses, Gretchen Gretchen is microchipped, spayed and UTD on shots.

  MAJIC

Breed: Dalmatian       Age:  ~9 Years

Majic is almost 9 years old. He does not act his age, he is very active. He is very affectionate, loyal, loves to cuddle, and be close to you. He will steal your heart. He gets along with cats and small dogs and submissive large dogs. Majic had a common Dalmatian urinary problem that causes him to form stones in his bladder. To keep this under control he has had a special surgery and does require special food that cost $75 per for a 30 # bag which last approximately 60 days. He also needs to be on a medication to help prevent reoccurrence of the stones. He is a very loving dog that is looking for a permanent home. Any question or to come and meet Majic, please call 402-493-9650.

  HANNA

Breed: Beagle/Basset Mix     Age:  ~3 Months

Hanna is a 12 week old bagel - part basset, part beagle who just wants to give everyone kisses! She is all black and white with short legs and a pudgy body. Hanna may be the youngest puppy we are fostering but she keeps up with the big boys. She loves toys of any kind, leaves, sticks, other dogs (her favorite chew toy) and snuggling. Hanna is crate trained and is working hard at potty training. Sometimes she just can't make it all the way from the crate to the door before she has to go. Hanna seems to do better with boys than girls. She is pretty strong willed for a puppy. She does get along great with the other foster puppies (Oscar, Bert and Ernie). Hanna is microchipped, up to date on shots but is too young to be spayed. She will require a refundable $100.00 spay deposit along with her $200.00 adoption fee.

  CHARLEE

Breed: Basset Mix      Age:  ~5-6 Months

Charlee (we were told she was a he before we got her!) is a basset mixed with beagle and maybe something else. Body-wise she is a basset. Ears are shorter and less messy! Charlee loves people, toys, slippers, exploring outside and playing with the other dogs. She also loves dog beds. She will chew on her toys in a bed, wrestle with Ernie and Lucky in a dog bed and sometimes even sleep! Her favorite toys are nyla bones and squeaky toys. She is kennel trained and working hard on potty training. She is about 75% house broken. She is spayed, up-to-date on shots and microchipped. Her adoption fee is $200.00.

  MIKEY

Breed: Cairn Terrier Mix      Age:  ~3 Years

What? Mikey isn’t a beagle and he sure isn’t a basset! Mike is a 3 year old Cairn terrier mix with crazy wiry hair that surrounds his foxy little face like a halo. He is a typical terrier – feisty, energetic and full of fun. He loves to play with the young dogs in the house, bark at rabbits and play with toys. He also likes his share of pets and scratches. Mike also chases his tail which is the funniest thing to watch. Even the beagles think it is funny which probably just eggs him on. He is totally uninterested in the cat. Mike is crate trained but will mark in the house when you first get him so you need to keep your eye on him. We recently found out for a 15 lb dog he can sure hog a bed. I still haven't figured out how he managed to get to sleep with us! He is neutered, microchipped and up to date on shots.

  SNOOPY

Breed: Beagle        Age:  ~8 Years

Snoopy - now that is an original name - is an 8 year old beagle. He is crate trained, house broken, good with kids and dogs. He likes to sleep in his dog bed, play outside and play with toys. He especially likes orange and hot pink toys -who says dogs can't see color! He has systematically ripped all the covers off most of the tennis balls in the house. Snoopy is good with most dogs because he guards food. As long as the dogs are fed separately he is just fine, but he will growl at the other dogs when food is involved. Snoopy also has had seizures in the past but it is easily controlled with a daily medication for about $10 a month. Snoopy is up to date on shots, microchipped and neutered.

  SARAH & CINDY

Breed: Beagle        Age:  ~9 Years & 3 Years

Sarah and Cindy are two very special girls. Their mom was terminally ill and worked with BBRH to ensure her girl’s safety and health. We committed to finding them a wonderful home where they can be together. The girls are very, very bonded, but do have opposite personalities. Sarah is 9 years old. She is a very mellow girl, likes to hang out on the couch, curl up in your lap and have Cindy groom her. You can see from her pictures that she has had a few too many treats in her life and is working on reducing her waist line. She takes a daily joint table to help with a little stiffness in her backend. Cindy is 3 years old. She is a very loving girl who is excited by everything in life. She loves people coming over, can’t wait to get in your lap for some pats, and spends half her day grooming Sarah. Cindy does have seizures which are controlled with very affordable medications. These girls must be adopted together. Both girls are spayed, housebroken, crate trained and overall very well behaved. They are both current on shots and heartworm preventative. They do well in the car and enjoy going for walks.

  BAILEY

Breed: Beagle        Age:  ~5 Years

Bailey is a very sweet and active 5 year old beagle. She gets along with the multiple dogs she lives with and thinks they are fine company. She is kennel trained and almost potty trained. Bailey has some allergies that we are controlling with a change in food to sensitive skin. Bailey also has trouble with car rides so just like us, she gets dramamine. Bailey likes to play with other dogs, squeaky toys and she loves to eat. Whayt beagle doesn't!? She can be a real snuggler and is content just to be with her people. Bailey is spayed, up-to-date on her shots and microchipped.

  PD

Breed: Beagle        Age:  ~4 Years

PD is a beautiful beagle girl.  She is a housebroken and crate trained and a very mellow girl.  She loves to curl up on the bed with her foster mom and get pats for as long as mom will sit with her.  She also enjoys curling up in her little dog bed (that she barely fits in).  She is the most charming little girl and cannot wait to find her perfect forever home that will spoil her as she so deserves.

  MAX

Breed: Beagle        Age:  ~5 Years

Max is a 5 year old male beagle though he may have some basset in him. He is very sweet and loves to play with toys and go for walks. He loves other dogs and likes to play with them (tug of war, running circles, wrestling). When he is tired though, he retreats to his little dog bed where he naps during the day and sleeps through the night. Max loves to go for walks and hang out with you in the yard. He is a diligent bunny watcher so we actually have flowers this year. (Go Max!) It is obvious he has been around young children a lot in his life. He is crate trained but will wait to go in until he sees a treat. Max marks when he is first in a home so you need to wwatch him close for the first week or so. He is neutered and up to date on all shots. He will make a wonderful, loyal companion for someone! We will miss him a lot when he finds his forever home.

  BROCK

Breed: Beagle        Age: ~4 years

Well hello - my name is Brock - I have a couple requirements for my new home. Most important is that I HAVE to sleep in bed at night. I am very, very insistent about this. I am very well behaved, I won't get up all night, I won't have any accidents...but I do like to hog the bed. :) I LOVE sleeping in bed!!!! If there isn't room I'm happy to sleep on you. Also, I really like plush toys, I like to rip all their stuffing out. My foster mom got me these super heavy duty toys, they were a lot more work than the cheap ones, but I finally gutted them too. It was so much fun. So now that the most important things have been covered, here are my details: I am housebroken, crate trained, all vetted and ready to go to my new home. I do sometimes get an upset tummy when I have an empty stomach, so my foster mom feeds me 4 small meals a day so that my stomach doesn't ever get too empty. I take a simple over the counter human stomach medicine once a day that also helps. I am very well behaved and can't wait to be the center of attention.

  KODY

Breed: Beagle        Age: ~4 years

Kody is around 4 years old. He is housebroken, crate trained, heartworm negative, neutered and up to date on shots. Kody has a special wiggle dance he does when he is happy, his entire hind end wiggles around while he dances his excitement. He is a very affectionate boy, who enjoys plenty of snuggle time - but still enjoys playing. He does well with other dogs and ignores cats. The vet thinks he was either hit by car when he was young or has a slightly 'off'' backend. It doesn't slow him down, he just appears to walk on his toes and sits straight legged. Kody would do best in a home without small children.
