  ANNABELLE

Breed: Beagle       Age:  ~5 Years

Annabelle is now nearly half the dog she used to be!!!!!  She is a super skinng 27 pounds!!!  When Annabelle came into BBRH she weighed in at 53 pounds.  After a very scary bought of pneumonia - most likely contracted during her time at a public shelter - she has steadily been losing weight. Way to go Annabelle!!! She is a very, very affectionate dog and cannot get enough attention.  She seems to have a constant smile on her face and is sooo excited to see you.  She is crate trained and housebroken.

**Check out my new pictures of my sleek new body!  I am so skinny!!!!!

  TOBY

Breed: Basset        Age:   7 Months

Toby (also known as Mr. Pickles) is a 7 month old, neutered male basset hound. Toby is a BIG boy – weighing in at 43 pounds already. He is working on his housebreaking and crate training and would benefit greatly from some obedience classes. His foster home is working with him on learning appropriate house manners and how to be a part of a family. He does very well with other dogs and ok with cats (he will chase them). Toby needs a home that can work with him on becoming a part of a family. He is a very strong basset puppy and needs a family that is willing to work with him. If you are interested in adopting Toby, please fill out an adoption application

  SUNNY

Breed: Beagle        Age:  ~2-3 Years

Sunny is 2-3 years old. She is spayed, up to date on shots and heart work negative. She is doing well on her housebreaking and crate training. She does well with children as well as other dogs. She is a very gentle girl and can’t wait to find her forever home.

  TRACKER

Breed: Beagle        Age:  ~4 Years

Tracker is one of the most affectionate beagles you will ever meet.  He simply cannot get enough love and attention. He is crate trained and housebroken.  He has been treated for heartworms, neutered, and is current on shots.  Tracker loves to get pats, he will sit and wag his little tail forever if you will just keep petting him.  Tracker does have some chronic ear problems that require regular medication and will need care for his lifetime.  He would do wonderful in a home where someone is home a lot of the time.

  MOLLY

Breed: Beagle Mix        Age:  ~11 Months

Molly is almost a year old.  She is short like a beagle, but has a Looooong body.  She is around 35 pounds, spayed, up to date on shots and on heartworm preventative.  She loves to play with other dogs, does well with kids and ignores the cat.  She is crate trained and housebroken.  Molly needs a secure fence as she seems to have springs in her feet!!!

  ANDY

Breed: Beagle        Age:  ~1-2 Years

Andy is approximately 1-2 years old and has a bit of basset in him. His nose and body are long for a beagle but that just gives him character! Don't let his age fool you, Andy is just learning what is means to be a dog in a loving home so he has a lot of puppy left in him. Andy is very shy when he first meets people but will warm up to become a lovebug with time and patience. He was not socialized with people a lot when he was young so he needs time to feel comfortable around new people. Once he feels comfortable with you he wants to snuggle when he is tired. Andy's favorite thing to do is to tear up cardboard, especially empty papertowel rolls. We call him a cheap date! His favorite things are other dogs, a good romp in the yard and his chew toys. Andy is neutered, up to date on shots, microchipped and ready to find a home to give him all the love he missed out on as a puppy. He is crate trained and working hard on house training.

  FENWAY

Breed: Beagle        Age:  ~4 Year

Fenway is around 4 years old.  He is crate trained and working on his housebreaking.  Fenway LOVES people.  He loves to get pats, snuggles and love and will in return give many kisses.  He is current on his vetwork and ready to go to his new home!

  PD

Breed: Beagle        Age:  ~4 Years

PD is a beautiful beagle girl.  She is a housebroken and crate trained and a very mellow girl.  She loves to curl up on the bed with her foster mom and get pats for as long as mom will sit with her.  She also enjoys curling up in her little dog bed (that she barely fits in).  She is the most charming little girl and cannot wait to find her perfect forever home that will spoil her as she so deserves.

  LADY & SCOUT

Breed: Beagle        Age:  ~9 Years

Lady and Scout came into rescue together. They have been together for much of their lives and are very bonded. Scout seems to be the leader, investigating first with Lady right behind. They are pretty mellow girls, love to lay around and get attention, but also enjoy ensuring the back yard is free from squirrels and rabbits. They are crate trained and housebroken.

  MAX

Breed: Beagle        Age:  ~5 Years

Max is a 5 year old male beagle though he may have some basset in him. He is very sweet and loves to play with toys and go for walks. He loves other dogs and likes to play with them (tug of war, running circles, wrestling). When he is tired though, he retreats to his little dog bed where he naps during the day and sleeps through the night. Max loves to go for walks and hang out with you in the yard. He is a diligent bunny watcher so we actually have flowers this year. (Go Max!) It is obvious he has been around young children a lot in his life. He is crate trained but will wait to go in until he sees a treat. Max marks when he is first in a home so you need to wwatch him close for the first week or so. He is neutered and up to date on all shots. He will make a wonderful, loyal companion for someone! We will miss him a lot when he finds his forever home.

  BROCK

Breed: Beagle        Age: ~4 years

Well hello - my name is Brock - I have a couple requirements for my new home. Most important is that I HAVE to sleep in bed at night. I am very, very insistent about this. I am very well behaved, I won't get up all night, I won't have any accidents...but I do like to hog the bed. :) I LOVE sleeping in bed!!!! If there isn't room I'm happy to sleep on you. Also, I really like plush toys, I like to rip all their stuffing out. My foster mom got me these super heavy duty toys, they were a lot more work than the cheap ones, but I finally gutted them too. It was so much fun. So now that the most important things have been covered, here are my details: I am housebroken, crate trained, all vetted and ready to go to my new home. I do sometimes get an upset tummy when I have an empty stomach, so my foster mom feeds me 4 small meals a day so that my stomach doesn't ever get too empty. I take a simple over the counter human stomach medicine once a day that also helps. I am very well behaved and can't wait to be the center of attention.

  GWEN

Breed: Beagle        Age: ~9 years

Gwen is a gorgeous 9 year old beagle. Her dad died suddenly and she was relinquished to BBRH by his remaining family. She is extremely loving and is very happy to go absolutely everywhere with her foster mom. Even though Gwen is 9, she has a whole lot of life left in her. She is so much fun to take to the park…she can’t wait to meet everyone! Gwen is a very spoiled little girl and considers herself very much a princess. If you are interested in Gwen, please fill out our adoption application!

  KODY

Breed: Beagle        Age: ~4 years

Kody is around 4 years old. He is housebroken, crate trained, heartworm negative, neutered and up to date on shots. Kody has a special wiggle dance he does when he is happy, his entire hind end wiggles around while he dances his excitement. He is a very affectionate boy, who enjoys plenty of snuggle time - but still enjoys playing. He does well with other dogs and ignores cats. The vet thinks he was either hit by car when he was young or has a slightly 'off'' backend. It doesn't slow him down, he just appears to walk on his toes and sits straight legged. Kody would do best in a home without small children.
